Mike DeLange

Director

Mike is in his 7th year of coaching for JH Volleyball. He was also a varsity and freshman coach for the Jackson Hole High School volleyball team and coached in the school program for 6 years. He has been playing volleyball ever since he moved to Jackson in 1994. He also referees city league volleyball in Jackson.

Mike attended the University of Montana and received a BS in Computer Science. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys playing softball, photography, and spending time with his dog Louie, who was rescued from Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. Mike owns Crystal Creek Consulting, a company that develops custom web and software solutions. Mike can be found on MySpace and on FaceBook.

Mike Nicholds

Director

Mike is in his 8th year of coaching for JHVB and was a junior varsity and freshman coach for the Jackson Hole High School for 8 years. Mike was a setter for the University of Tennessee club volleyball team.

Mike is a rabid Tennessee Vols fan, loves the color orange, and is a true artist when it comes to carving pumpkins. He also enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking in his spare time. Mike is a concierge at the Four Seasons Resort.

Tina Flowers

Director

Tina was the varsity coach for the Jackson Hole High School program for 4 years during the 6 years she coached there. Tina grew up in Cody where she played for the 4-A State Champion Bronc volleyball team and was an all-state tournament player, all-state member, and a two time all-conference player. She played for two years as a middle/right side blocker for Northwest College in Powell, WY and placed 5th at nationals (NJCAA), in Miami, Florida. She played her last year as an all-around hitter for Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.

Tina enjoys rock climbing, skiing, skiing, and more skiing, biking, yoga and traveling the world with her husband Nat. She owns and operates Teton Lifestyles Caretaking, a company specializing in home caretaking services in Jackson Hole and surrounding areas.

Saghi Leoni

Coach

Saghi has been coaching for JHVB for 9 years and is a volunteer coach for the Jackson Hole High School volleyball team. He has played volleyball since he was 9 years old and he trained with the Israeli National Junior Boys Team.

Saghi is a Level 2 snowboard instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. He enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, Red Bull, and spending time with his wife Lauren.

Joe Paulson

Coach

Joe is in his 5th year of coaching for JHVB. Before coming to JHVB, Joe played high school volleyball and played as a libero for Northern Arizona University.

Joe plays as much as he can with the JH Men's Volleyball team, but also loves spending time with his wife and new baby Ben.

Katie Mills

Coach

Katie is in her second year as a JHVB coach. She has been playing volleyball since she was about 12 and has never stopped! She grew up just outside of Boise, Idaho where she played throughout high school. She has been in Jackson for nearly 8 years now and has been playing in league and open gym for the last several years. Some of the other things she enjoys are running rivers, skate skiing with her dogs, and playing softball. She is also training for a marathon in 2010. She works full time at Aspen Travel and has been there since moving to Jackson in 2001.

Jessi West Lundeen

Coach

Jessi was born and raised in Wilson, WY and started playing volleyball in Jackson in 1999. Jessi played for eight consecutive years with JHVB, Jackson Hole Middle School, and High School teams, finishing with the Wyoming All-Star game her senior year. This is her first year coaching and she is excited to see where the season will take us.

She is currently getting her Masters in Elementary Art Education, teaching for pARTners, The Children’s Learning Center, and working at Snake River Brewing. As you can see teaching and children (of all ages) are her passion!

After undergrad in Bellingham, WA Jessi traveled for a bit around South America and then moved back to Jackson to be close to her family and amidst the amazing views! Here is where you will find her frolicking outside hiking, skiing, climbing, and practicing yoga, rafting, and running.

Elesif Smith

Coach

Elesif Smith grew up in Jackson Hole and is currently a junior at the University of Wyoming. She played volleyball during both middle school and high school, earning all-conference honors twice and all-state honors once. She was also selected for the Wyoming all-star team her senior year. She was a JHVB club player for 3 years and has participated in several coed rec tournaments throughout her career.

Elesif loves the game of volleyball and as a first year coach for JHVB, can't wait to teach it to others. When she is home from school she works at Sidewinders as well as the Four Seasons Resort. This spring she will be in Germany for a semester abroad and is very excited.

Stephanie Jepsen

Coach

Stephanie is in her 4th year of coaching with JHVB and is the head coach of the JHMS 7th grade volleyball team. She has played on adult coed and women's teams in the local Parks and Rec adult leagues for several years. In college she played on an intramural team and also participated in AAU volleyball in high school. She grew up in Jackson and graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 1993.

Stephanie works full time at Aspen Travel, who supports her efforts working with 7th grade volleyball. She is also a member of the Jackson Hole Snowdevils and has received her certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer from the AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America).

Sean Scarlett

Coach

Sean is in his second year as a JHVB coach. Sean grew up in Jackson Hole where he picked up the sport of volleyball during the summers of his high school years. While there weren't a lot of opportunities to play back then, he was successful in helping to start the first and only boys club team in 1997.

Sean enjoys just about everything Jackson has to offer and considers himself very lucky to be able to live and work here.

Laurie Balogh

Coach

Laurie Balogh coaches the JH Middle School 8th grade volleyball team. She enjoys working with young athletes as they develop and tune their skills while learning about teamwork and sportsmanship. Laurie began playing volleyball in the 6th grade and has enjoyed jumping in on a game ever since, she plays as an outside hitter and setter.

While away from the court, Laurie enjoys the many sports and activities in both the mountain and ocean climates. From skiing to hiking and fishing to diving, her love of travel and exploration fill a lot of her pastime. She has lived in Jackson for 8 years and proudly calls it her home.

Chris Wolstenholme

Coach

Chris played in the 1996 Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships, where his team placed in the top 20. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2002 with a marketing and management degree. He has been a Jackson resident since 2004 working for Vertical Media, a publisher of regional online travel guides.

Chris enjoys alpine skiing, mountain biking, playing the guitar, backpacking, road trips, climbing, and playing volleyball with the JH crew. His best friends are his two hounds, Ebony and The Dude.
