JHVB 17’s Take 3rd at Blizzard Warmup

The JHVB 17 team took 3rd in the silver bracket of the Blizzard Warmup tournament in Ogden on January 18th, resulting in a 9th place finish overall.  After falling 0-2 to the Idaho Falls Juniors 18’s, the 17’s bounced back to defeat Club V 17 Smash 25-15 and 25-21 and split with Utah Ice 17’s 20-25 and 25-21.  Due to an overall pool play tie, Jackson and Utah Ice matched up again for a playoff set.  Despite a 9-point comeback rally after getting behind early, Jackson was defeated, earning them a first round silver bracket bye.  Jackson was then defeated in bracket play by the Club Shield 18’s
